Chateau D’Esclans Celebrates 10th Anniversary Under Owner Sacha Lichine
Company’s Whispering Angel is now one of the most widely consumed rosés around
The château is known for its old Grenache vines whose grapes have a greater concentration of flavor than younger vines.
Chateau d’Esclans, the leading French rosé producer, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2016 under the leadership of current owner Sacha Lichine.
The Cotes de Provence based winery produces Whispering Angel, Rock Angel, Les Clans and Garrus wines, the most exclusive rosé wines ranging in price from $22 to $100. Its Whispering Angels rosé has risen from 10,000 cases in the United States in 2006 to more than 100,000 cases in 2016.
